Talk about a unique wrap, huh? This Indonesian Textured Gold BMW M6 takes the whole wrapping game to a new level by combining two of its boldest trends: golden foil and textured design. The combo gives the car an almost carbon gold look which is utterly unique.
So as far as gold wraps go, the Textured Gold BMW M6 is up there with the best of them. Sadly, we can’t say the same thing about the wheels this bad boy’s sporting, as they are completely mismatched with the body. You would expect to see a set of large, gold-accented Forgiatos on this car, but wheel shop Permaisuri decided to go with a set of rather understated 21 inch Vossen LC-104 rims with a Polished Brushed finish which would look more at home on an E-Class Mercedes.
Still, that doesn’t take away from the fact that this Textured Gold BMW M6 is one of the most special examples of this car we have ever laid eyes upon.

OK, you can go ahead and categorize this as one of those offbeat oddities we sometimes come across in the tuning scene. Putting this custom purple Porsche Turbo 997 on some train tracks for a promo shoot was a cool idea the guys from Closed Course Films came up with to show how creative they are.
Of course, they must have coordinated this stunt with like a thousand authorities. But we can’t help thinking what would they do if suddenly a train behind the car… They couldn’t have driven it off the rails, not with that stance. They would have to just drive it on the tracks ahead of the train like in a cartoon!

In case you are interested, the purple Porsche Turbo features a custom Techart body kit, Stance Lab suspension, and Marcus Fry Racing straight piped exhaust system. And it’s a 997 generation Turbo.

After giving us a thorough, in-depth look at the Mazda MX-5 Miata, it was only natural for SaabKyle to do the same thing with the 2017 Fiat 124 Spider. After all, these cars are archrivals, even though they are basically the same car as far as chassis and ruing gear are conceed. In one of the coolest and yet most pointless publicity stunts Volkswagen has ever conducted, the American branch of the company tuned a VW Beetle and sent it to the Boeville Salt Flats in Utah for a speed record. The number this Beetle LSR managed to score was 205.122 mph over a flying mile.
OK, so this exercise has not been as pointless as said above because, for one thing, Volkswagen runs a Beetle in the Rallycross series and this record could boost that car’s track cred. What’s more, this stunt puts in perspective the potential of VW’s 2.0 liter turbocharged engine for tuning.
The unit they used in the VW Beetle LSR, modified by THR Manufacturing, develops a colossal – for a 2.0 liter – 543 horsepower and 421 pound-feet of torque at the wheels (more than 600 hp and nearly 500 lb-ft. at the flywheel). To be fair though it’s been practically rebuilt by the tuner with new turbochargers, pistons, camshafts, coecting rods, and head modifications.

The guys at Canepa have just finished restoring something rather special, a 1979 BMW M1 Procar chassis, one of only 40 Procar M1s and the only road going example in the world. This Basalt Blau beauty is certainly one of the coolest cars currently part of Canepa’s glittering collection.
Canepa’s BMW M1 has a long and rather interesting history. It started life as a spare car for the BMW M1 Procar Championship racing series and never saw track action until after a series of transactions it ended up in America and now in the hands of Bruce Canepa. It was at his workshops where the M1 was given a full and complete restoration so it now looks, feels and goes like a showroom-fresh car just driven off the production line.

What do the livery of a British tobacco company made famous by Porsche in Le Mans and Group B rallying and a rather prissy sports coupe like Audi TT have in common? Well, not much really. But the fact is the colors of the iconic livery and the lines of the mode car make this Rothmans Audi TT one helluva an eye candy and that is enough of a reason for its existence.
The choice of livery for the Rothmans Audi TT by EAH Customs of Germany is actually an interesting one. The Rothmans colors are among the coolest motorsport liveries ever created – up there with Martini and Gulf – but because it’s from a tobacco company no one uses it anymore. So Kudos to EAH for bringing it back and reminding us how royal this livery looks. We hope to see more Rothmans cars from now on.

Impressive Wrap have established themselves as one of the most creative firms in the wrapping industry owing to works like this. With a simple design and very little work in terms of the actual wrapping they have given this Ferrari 488 GTB a magnificent FXX K hyper track car look which is absolutely brilliant.
The Black and white FXX K is one of the coolest examples of the multi-million dollar racing Ferraris and it’s a sign of the good taste on the part of the owner of this Ferrari 488 GTB to choose that livery for his car. In order to apply it, the guys at Impressive Wrap first covered the whole car Suntek protective film and then set about recreating the design of the livery with Satin White Aluminum film on the boet, pillars, roof, and front and rear aprons as well as side sills.

The boys at Sport Auto magazine recently had a chance to take a Porsche 718 Cayman S around the Nurburgring and they decided that instead of a leisurely cruise around the Green Hell they should attempt a full on lap record. The time they recorded with the new Cayman was 7 minutes 46.7 seconds.
Given that Porsche 718 Cayman S only has a four-banger that records is hugely impressive, especially when you realize it is pretty much the same record as the V12-powered Ferrari 599 GTB. Bloody good motor, this Cayman is.

As the latest evolution of a design that catapulted the mode-day Spyker from obscurity to the top of the supercar nobility hierarchy, Spyker C8 Preliator retains the original styling elements of the car but adds a number of new features to make the package more appealing to the customers. Of all the mods so far implemented on the Ferrari 488 GTB by various tuners around the world, slamming the car seems to be the one that always works. The car just looks cooler with the ground clearance eliminated. This new slammed Ferrari 488 GTB is prepared by Simply Tire who has also fitted the car with a set of HRE wheels.
The treatment works especially well on this particular slammed Ferrari 488 GTB because the car is finished in a very clean, very luxurious white and doesn’t feature any extra gaish that would make it distinctly a tuner car. It is like Megan Fox in a white pantsuit. She’d still look hot and extremely doable.

It took a while, but Chris Harris’ review of the new, face-lifted Porsche 991 Turbo S is finally released. Chris filmed this a while back at Kaylami race track in South Africa, and it has now found an outlet on Top Gear, a venue which Chris seems to be taking over completely. As far as tuned Land Rover products go, an Overfinch Range Rover Sport is about as sexy as they come, especially if the Sport in question is a fully loaded Supercharged Autobiography model. Mind you, all that sexiness comes at a price… £163,990 to be precise.

Maybe it’s because McLarens have sleek and sophisticated designs, but you don’t see too many of them around rocking Forgiato wheels, which, to be honest, are a bit on the ostentatious side. But we have one of those rare occasions here thanks to The Auto Gallery of Beverly Hills who fitted a brand-new McLaren 570GT with some overly shiny Forgiatos.
The Forgiato rims featured on this white McLaren 570GT are a set of Sincro-ECL wheels in a brushed finish measuring 20 inch on the front and 21 inch on the rear. They have a sort of intricate design that actually doesn’t look that out of place as you one would have thought on the 570, but the shiny finish, we are not so sure about that.

The story of the Mercedes AMG GT Cabrio, the convertible version of the AMG GT hardtop sports coupe, has been an intriguing one. Mercedes used to deny having any plans for a convertible AMG GT, and they sort of convinced us when they released the AMG GT R. But later one, when the first prototypes of the GT C were spotted out and about, it became clear they had given in to popular demand.
Actually, it was more Mercedes’ own love of convertible cars that compelled them to build the Mercedes AMG GT Cabrio . If you look at their range these days they have a convertible version of pretty much everything, from C to the S-Class. And that’s besides the full blooded convertibles like the SLC and SL. Hell, they might even chop the top of the Maybach pretty soon!

Swiss tuner Cartech takes us to school today, teaching us the proper ways of upgrading the chassis and performance of a Mercedes AMG GT S. Not that the standard car lacks anything in those aspects, but you can always work in a little extra panache to make the whole thing better, more enjoyable.
They began their work on the Mercedes AMG GT on the ramp where they swap the stock wheels for a set of HRE RS101 rims in sizes 10,0×20 with 265/30 tires on the front and 12,0×21 with 305/25 tires out back. The wheels come in black which complement the paint finish on this car, and they are shod with high-performance Michelin Pilot Supersport rubber, so they enhance the handling as well.
Done with the wheels Cartech Mercedes AMG GT then undergoes some knee surgery where its main suspension components get replaced by ultra-sophisticated KW units. One of the latest ‘Exclusive’ Audi models to go on display at Neckarsulm Forum is this sweet-looking Matte Glacier White Audi RS6. The special paint job on this car is paired with unique wheels, aluminum accents, and a Cognac brown interior to create a one-of-a-kind RS6 Avant that looks as good as it goes.
The exterior of the Matte Glacier White Audi RS6 is gaished, besides the special order color, with the Optik package, matte aluminum accents and details and Star Design 20 inch aluminum wheels with 285/30 tires. The combination is more on the side of subtlety than flamboyance, and that is just extremely cool. This car doesn’t shout about its exclusiveness. Well, it seems that the supremacy of the smug Porsche Panamera Turbo, which has long been the fastest, wildest, most vicious sports sedan, is at an end as the new Alfa Romeo Giulia QV (Quadrifoglio Verde) kicks its Teutonic bottom around the Nurburgring. The Italian car set a lap time of 7:32s which is six seconds quicker than the Porsche.
The Alfa Romeo Giulia QV setting the record was driven by the company’s ace test driver Fabio France and it was equipped with the ZF 8-speed automatic transmission, proving once again that the manual transmission is a thing of the past. For comparison, a manual QV set a record of 7:39.

Ferrari doesn’t really make commercials for their cars because they don’t need to. But they do produce sick promotional clips for them, and more often than not they go Spain for this purpose. So car spotters were alert and ready when the new LaFerrari Aperta appeared in their neck of the woods and they went out to beat Ferrari to the punch and publish footage of the car before they even finish filming.
This video offers a pretty good look at the LaFerrari Aperta as it cruises around Barcelona seeking a good location. The camera contraption on the back of the car means the official clip will also include shots of tearing up and down some race track or mountain road. So rest assured, it is going to be good.

Each week we get tons of renderings from talented independent designers, and while they are often pretty good most of them are nothing but flights of fancy with no real-world value. But every once in a while we stumble upon a rendering that is too good not to be built, and this Tesla Model S Coupe is definitely one of them.
Lately a lot of people have been wondering what would be Tesla’s next model now that they have a luxury sedan, a SUV (Model X) and an entry-level four-door family car (Model 3), and they have been speculating that it would be a pickup truck or a minivan. It is always a big deal when you see a multi-million dollar car parked on the street like an ordinary family sedan, especially one that has no business being there in the first place. This road-legal McLaren P1 GTR is a pretty crappy car to drive on public roads for obvious reasons, but it could very well be the coolest thing ever to grace the streets.
It is amazing to think that somebody paid nearly two million dollar for a regular McLaren P1 – because that’s how qualify to buy a P1 GTR – then spend twice that on a racing McLaren P1 GTR, and probably the same amount again on making the thing road-legal. All that for what? To show us that he can? Well, yes, that’s how these things work really. Granted, the guy could have saved many lives spending all that money on fighting hunger and disease in Africa or someplace like that, but he decided he would feel better showing off. And that’s okay.

We never got the point of these automatic parking systems in small hatchbacks and city cars. Frankly, if you can park a car like Kia Ceed you should not be allowed to drive at all. Newport Beach September 2016 super car show tued out to an impromptu McLaren even as it featured two of the world’s most unique MSO P1s. The first one was the chameleon-colored MK Edition we showed you yesterday, and the other one was this, the one-of-a-kind Amber Carbon McLaren P1.
As we leaed at the Pebble Beach Concours, Amber Carbon McLaren P1 is not actually brown. This color is a special version of McLaren Volcano Orange with a unique tint that seems brown in dim light. Up close, and with proper lighting, the color looks absolutely breathtaking. It makes every single weave of the carbon fiber look like a little piece of jewelry.
Granted, that chameleon P1 is more eye-catching and all, but Amber Carbon McLaren P1 is just more classy and a helluva lot more exquisite. Check it out in the gallery below:
